Raccoons are servants of Satan - killing for fun

Raccoons are the biggest threat in Arkansas as well. Over the last 20, lost maybe 2-3 birds to hawks, the rest to raccoons. The demons are smart, and every time I think I have a coon proof setup, they find a way. Then begin to just pull the heads off birds.

They always also seem to kill our favorites - the birds that become pets as they are more intelligent or responsive than the rest of the flock.

My raccoon policy is based on Kipling's "Grave of the Hundred Heads".
