Back in the day they would investigate the hell out of people to make sure they weren't communists or could be blackmailed (you know what I am talking about).

Now that our government is literally satanic they make sure to only hire people that they can trust. Instead of hiring devout christians like they used to back in the day now they hire.....

Note that the operating principle is the same.
