Is their lights went out because of greedy oil companies cutting corners on maintenance.

The radio ads insinuating that they are entitled to compensation reinforce that belief daily , pandering to conformation bias .

Very few know about the carbon neutral pump motor "upgrades" that have been going in for decades. Some of the pumping stations have substations as nig as a small town might require.
