for a while- Trophy wife and her cousin were going to fly to VA for a nephew's wedding at the end of the month. Plan was to meet up near cousin's place and fly last leg together. Both made arrangements and reservations etc- air, car, hotel. ( this was almost 2 months ago.) Cousin on American, Trophy wife on Delta. American stated it with cancellations and rebook, then Delta- Went through everything changing TWICE, Then nothing lined up so they cancelled everything. Now Driving. They pointed out that there was no guarantee they would get home. ended up it will be cheaper to drive anyway, just take more time.
