Korea - Harry Truman - Democrat
Vietnam - Kennedy - Democrat, escalated by LBJ - Democrat
Kosovo et al - Clinton - Democrat
Iraq - Daddy Bush - RINO
Afghanistan - Bush - Sometimes a RINO
Creating ISIS - Obama - Democrat
Flushing Afghanistan down the toilet - Biden - Democrat

Note that in Vietnam, Nixon - Republican, blamed for the war by the left, actually inherited the mess and worked to get us out while trying not to collapse the south.

Also note in Korea, Eisenhower - Republican, inherited the mess and ended the fighting. (He had it leaked to India, knowing they would snitch to the Chinese, that we were considering using nukes to end the war if peace talks continued to drag on.)
