If Our GDP Growth Rate is Below the Inflaton Rate

does that mean our economy is actually shrinking? I know every retail store manager is a superstar right now because same store sales, THE metric, is way up because of inflation. And places that sold lumber, like Home Depot, have 1 year sales growth that will never be matched. Hope those managers remember what a bonus looks like, may be a while before they see another one. I know I'm being real tight with a buck right now, because I can be.
